Not a whole lot here, but maybe this will encourage Jim to send some more stories and/or photos.

Jim: 
Yes, I was Army.  I am currently and have been living in Phoenix, Arizona coming up on 32 years, formerly from Omaha, Nebraska. 
I spent the first 2 months in Saigon before being assigned to Qui Nhon.  I believe that I was the second OIC of Detachment #1, replacing Captain Young.  I was also there when they built the 10,000 watt radio station at the base of  Vung Chua mountain.  The TV station was on Vung Chua.
